Textile Recycling Concepts –
The Core of Our Work

In a world increasingly focused on environmental protection, ALTEX has established itself as a pioneer in sustainable circular economy within the textile sector. “Our company is passionately committed to protecting the environment and strives to make a positive contribution to sustainable development.” Dania Stienemann, Managing Director.
“Every company generates manufacturing waste. Rather than viewing it as mere scrap, we see it as a valuable resource that should be utilized. Our mission is to upcycle these resources and, together with our customers and partners, develop opportunities for reuse. By closing the loop, we aim to contribute to making the world a little more sustainable.”

Textile residues are broken down into individual fibers and then processed into new fiber blends. From these new fiber blends, we produce nonwoven products for a wide range of applications.

ALTEX recycling concept

The key to our commitment lies in the intelligent processing of textile waste materials from various industries. Rather than viewing them as mere scrap, we see them as a valuable resource that should be utilized. Our mission is to recycle and upcycle these textile remnants to create a closed-loop system.

Through this innovative process, we produce high-quality fibers and fiber blends that serve as the basis for new nonwovens. In doing so, we place great emphasis on quality and functionality to ensure that the final products fully meet our customers’ requirements.

The result of our efforts is a finished product that not only meets the highest quality standards but also delivers clear environmental benefits. By focusing on the recycling of textile waste, we reduce raw material consumption and minimize the ecological footprint of our products.

“Residual materials are not waste to us, but raw materials.” Nico Stienemann, Operations managing partner
